Want to learn all about making your own jewelry? At BAYU we offer workshops to help you get started. On this page you can read all about the different types of workshops and find our workshop schedule!

Practical information

- The workshops are given in our store at Kerklaan 72A in Rijswijk
- You are welcome from fifteen minutes before the start time of the workshop. Make sure you are present at least 5 minutes in advance, so you don't miss any of the explanation!
- The workshops last between 1.5 and 2 hours
- Afterwards there is the opportunity to shop in our store with a 10% discount so that you can continue working at home!
- Did something come up? You can cancel your registration free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the workshop. If you cancel later, we will unfortunately have to charge 25% of the rate.

Reservations can be made via info@bayu.nl .
 When making a reservation, please provide the number of people and your telephone number.

Important! We have a minimum number of participants of 4 people. If the workshop has too few registrations, we will unfortunately move the workshop and we will contact you at least one day in advance.

About the workshops

Stringing techniques

During the stringing techniques workshop you will learn everything about the basics of stringing and you will be introduced to the different materials, techniques and possibilities that you can use.

We will be working with steel wire, elastic, crimp beads, locks, extension chains, wire protectors and of course we will be using the nicest beads and charms!

The costs for the workshop are €29.95 per person.
This includes:

  • 1.5 to 2 hours of explanation and assistance from a professional
  • A cup of coffee, tea or lemonade and something tasty
  • All basic materials
  • A very enjoyable workshop with a super nice end result!

Making Charm Necklaces


During this workshop you will design your own charm necklace! You will start by finding the nicest charms and beads. Then you will get explanation and help with connecting the charms and jump rings.

The costs for this workshop are €34.95 per person.

This includes:

  • 1.5 to 2 hours of explanation and assistance from a professional
  • A cup of coffee, tea or lemonade
  • All basic materials
  • A very enjoyable afternoon with a super nice end result!

Workshop Designing Earrings

      During this workshop we will start designing and making earrings ourselves. Together we will look for the best color combinations and teach you different techniques! This way you will go home with a nice end result!

      The costs for this workshop are €24.95 per person.

      This includes:

      • 1.5 to 2 hours of explanation and assistance from a professional
      • A cup of coffee, tea or lemonade
      • All basic materials
      • A very enjoyable evening with a super nice end result!

      Important! In addition to the amount of this workshop, you choose the beads for your earrings yourself. You purchase these beads with a discount! On top of the amount of €24.95, a few euros will be added.

      Weaving workshop

      During this workshop you will learn everything about weaving a bracelet. The setup, how it works and how to finish the bracelet nicely!

      The costs for this workshop are €29.95 per person.

      This includes:

      Bag charms


      Are you a bag lover? Then this workshop is really something for you! During this workshop we will work on the trend of the moment, Bag hangers! You bring your favorite bag to this workshop and we will pimp it with the nicest beads and charms! You can choose between a bag hanger or a cord.

      The costs for this workshop are €27.95 per person.

      This includes:

      • 1.5 to 2 hours of explanation and assistance from a professional
      • A cup of coffee, tea or lemonade
      • All basic materials
      • A very enjoyable afternoon with a super nice end result!

      Important! In addition to the basic materials, there is also the possibility to choose from the unique beads and charms. These are not included in the workshop. You can purchase them separately. This means that on top of the amount of €27.95 there will be a few euros. Of course, this choice is up to you :)

      Joy Workshop


      Almost everyone knows them, Joy Jewellery jewelry. We often get the question, can't it be cheaper? And can't I just make them myself? Yes, this is certainly possible!!

      During this workshop you will learn how the bracelets of Joy Jewellery are put together and which materials and techniques you use to make them yourself. During this workshop you will make 3 different bracelets so that you go home with a nice full wrist.

      Ibiza workshop


      During the Ibiza workshop you will work with shells, ribbon and satin cord! You will learn different techniques and knots. Besides the fact that this is a very pleasant evening you will also go home with a pleasantly filled wrist and you will be completely ready for summer!

      Make a flower bracelet


      During this workshop we make flowers from beads. You will learn the different techniques for this and get started with the most beautiful colors. We work with our wide range of Miyuki beads and you will go home with a bracelet of good quality and long life!

      Stringing bow necklace

      Bows, the trend of this season! During this workshop we will make a necklace with a bow. You will learn the basics of stringing and you will get to know the different materials.

      Create your own gemstone necklace

       

      During this workshop you will learn the basics of stringing and get to know the different materials. For example, we work with steel wire, crimp beads, locks, extension chains and of course we use the most beautiful beads.

      In this workshop we will delve deeper into the meanings of gemstones. You will select beads that really suit you and can possibly support you. This is a really fun workshop for you and your girlfriends!

      You don't need a new phone case at all.. Just design a new accessory to pimp your phone(case)! During this workshop we make a phone cord completely to your own wishes and style.

      Create a vision board


      During this workshop we will create a mood board together. We will cut, tear and paste images and quotes that symbolize what you want to achieve in 2025! We will also delve deeper into your style and colors that suit you.

      By looking at your vision board daily afterwards, you will stay focused on your goals and have more motivation to achieve them! In short, a fun workshop that helps you with a new start and a positive mindset :)
